Sorry for the delay in getting these videos posted, I had some health problems that needed to be tended to.

I built this “morning” task so I wouldn’t have to turn the TV on to play Pandora and so I don’t have to go through the phone, text and email applications to get me caught up on people that contacted me during the late evening hours.

Although this might be the most boring video in the series, it nails down some basics with Tasker. The menus to open different things are pretty easy to set up, however it gets a little more complicated when I ask Tasker to assist the process of turning on my amplifier in the morning and tune to a specified station.

To get Tasker to talk to my home theater system, I use AutoRemote and EventGhost and each have a set of macros and tasks associated with to each station.

If I want to listen to Pandora – Kenny Wayne Shepherd; AutoRemote will send a simple message to EventGhost like “ListenKWS” .. EventGhost will open Chrome with a Pandora url such as “http://www.pandora.com/station/play/474995306828145135“.
